Jason began his career at Apple, on the Genius Bar, and went on to work as a technical writer alongside the product teams at SafetyCulture (now Mitti) and Beem (formerly part of Australian Payments Plus). With the arrival of AI coding tools, he began designing and building products independently.

He founded Tether to spend time solving a consequential problem, building the company from zero to one and owning everything from strategy to product and growth. The largest consumer technologies, Instagram among them, are fundamentally at odds with human nature: their business models depend on maximising engagement, and that incentive drives their product decisions and the metrics they chase.
