Tether is a social network designed to replace the ones that profit from your attention

Mission

Social networks shouldn't undermine our psychology - they should genuinely be built to help us strengthen our relationships and help us understand one another in deeper ways.

Unfortunately, today, social platforms have become a wasteland of design patterns and algorithms intended to keep you scrolling. We think there's a better way, and that's where Tether comes in.

not an algorithm

Catch up,
then put it down

How it's different

A feed you can finish

Friends' posts arrive once a day. Scroll to the end and you're done until tomorrow.

No algorithm

You see what your friends post, newest first. Nothing is ranked, boosted or recommended.

Built for plans

Events, RSVPs and group chats sit at the centre of the app, so time on Tether turns into time together.
